Award-winning blues guitarists Terry Robb and Adam Scramstad will take the stage at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Old Liberty Theater, 115 N. Main St., Ridgefield. Frequent collaborators, the duo is known for its dynamic acoustic shows, which blend original compositions with traditional blues and folk styles.
Robb, a Vancouver native and inductee of the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, is internationally recognized for his fingerstyle technique and mastery of acoustic blues. His 15 solo albums, including the acclaimed “Confessin’ My Dues,” showcase influences ranging from Coltrane to Hendrix. He has performed with artists such as Buddy Guy, Steve Miller and Robin Trower.
Scramstad, an Oregon-born blues guitarist and vocalist, is recognized for his interpretations of early American folk and blues musicians, including Son House and Robert Johnson. His debut solo album, “No Sun Around Blues,” reached the Roots Music Radio Blues Chart and helped establish him as a rising figure in the Northwest blues scene.
