Battle Ground Art Alliance to hold annual Spring Art Show and Sale

The Battle Ground Art Alliance will host its 19th annual Spring Art Show and Sale on Saturday, April 22.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Battle Ground Community Center at 912 E. Main St.

“This year’s show is unlike any other, with a revamped structure that promises to offer an interactive and engaging experience for all attendees,” stated a news release from the alliance.

There will be 20 regional artists from Southwest Washington who will showcase their work in an array of media like painting, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry and textiles.



This year’s show will feature a lineup of live demonstrations. Attendees will be able to get an up-close look at the creative process of oil painting, mixed-media, fabric collage, basket weaving and more. There will also be an opportunity to talk with the artists about their techniques and inspirations.

“This interactive show is designed to pique the curiosity of all attendees, from families to seasoned art enthusiasts, and provide an opportunity for visitors to learn and experience the intricacies of art firsthand,” stated the release.

The Battle Ground Art Alliance, a nonprofit organization, works to bring art to the community and supports emerging and seasoned artists.
