Flags at city facilities throughout Battle Ground were at half mast over the weekend to honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. This was the 15th anniversary of the most tragic terrorist attack ever recorded on U.S. soil. 2,997 people lost their lives.
