A 40-year-old man died Saturday, July 12, after a motorcycle crash on southbound Interstate 5 near the exit to eastbound State Route 502 in Clark County.
Randel Miller, of Battle Ground, failed to negotiate a curve while riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson FLHX off the exit ramp. The motorcycle went onto the shoulder and Miller was ejected off the motorcycle, a Washington State Patrol report stated. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators stated that Miller was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and no other vehicles or pedestrians were involved. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role, the report states.
