After a decade of serving the community as a brick-and-mortar business, Legions Realty is entering a new chapter, one its leadership says will allow for even deeper local involvement.
Legions Realty Owner Shannon Wyman said at a Tuesday, March 31 ribbon cutting event that the office has merged with the Premiere Property Group, a move designed to reduce administrative workload while maintaining the same presence, staff and services residents have come to expect.
“We have decided that I don’t want to do the admin anymore,” Wyman said. “I just want to help more of the community, volunteer more, and have more time to do that.”
Wyman said she is also bringing on Lindsey Maze, of Amazing Properties, to co-own the new venture under the Premiere Property Group. Despite the behind-the-scenes change at Legions, Wyman emphasized that the transition will not affect clients.
“We’re still here, we’re still in the community, we’re still in the same spot,” Wyman said. “But we are under the umbrella of Premiere Properties.”
Wyman said the administrative work she was doing was restricting her ability to be even more involved in the Battle Ground community. She said the merger will allow her to be further focused on the community.
Legions Realty has contributed to a variety of local organizations and initiatives, including schools, youth sports and nonprofit groups like Battle Ground Senior Citizens Inc.
“We donate to any Battle Ground community piece that needs sponsors,” Wyman said. “We give them a gift basket so they can go out and sell that gift basket.”
The merger also connects the office to a broader network of resources through Premier Properties, which Wyman said will benefit both agents and clients.
“We have a bigger group now that we can pull from for information, classes, things like that,” she said.
For Wyman, the message to the community is simple: the name may be under a new umbrella, but the mission remains unchanged.
“We haven’t changed at all,” Wyman said. “The only thing that’s changed is the admin. We’re still here to serve the Battle Ground community.”
