Battle Ground Rotary Club volunteers spent Wednesday, May 20, helping beautify Old Town Battle Ground during a community cleanup day.
Members swept sidewalks, pulled weeds, cleaned planter areas and picked up trash along Main Street as part of an effort to keep the historic downtown welcoming for residents, visitors and local businesses, according to a Battle Ground Rotary Club press release.
“Service is at the core of who we are,” club leadership stated in the release. “We care deeply about this town, and giving back through projects like this is one way we show our commitment to the community we love.”
The Battle Ground Rotary Club hosts service projects and fundraisers throughout the year to support local needs and community programs. To learn more, visit battlegroundrotary.org.
