Battle Ground seeks applications for planning commission

The City of Battle Ground is looking to fill a vacant position on its planning commission.

The term for the vacant position ends on Dec. 31 and includes a potential reappointment to a four-year term, stated a news release.

Applicants must reside within Battle Ground. 

The planning commission is a seven-member volunteer board that advises the city council on legislative land use matters referred to them by the council. That includes comprehensive planning, capital facility planning, transportation planning and development codes, stated the release.



The commission typically meets one to two times a month. The meetings are held at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, as needed.
