Battle Ground Senior Citizens (BGSC) recently received a $1,000 grant from the Clark County REALTORS® Foundation to help with costs providing a healthy monthly luncheon for local senior citizens. BGSC was one of 34 nonprofit organizations that received grants from the foundation in 2024.
Since 2005, the Clark County REALTORS® Foundation has been “committed to improving the quality of life of children, families and seniors in Clark County,” according to a press release. Funding for grants is raised solely by the realtor and affiliate members of the Clark County Association of Realtors. Since the inception of the foundation, more than $270,000 have been distributed to local nonprofits.
“We are honored to receive these funds from the Clark County REALTORS® Foundation,” BGSC President Sharon Wodtke said in the press release. “This will help our costs to provide a quality luncheon for our local seniors. The reception was an extra special touch honoring local nonprofits. We know the realtors work very hard raising funds all year long to provide these grants, and we are grateful.”
