Battle Ground’s City Council will vote on April 15 whether or not to change its meeting times. The vote will commence after a public hearing regarding the ordinance.
If approved, the City Council will meet at 7 p.m. every first and third Tuesday monthly. Study sessions would be held, as needed, at 6 p.m. every second and fourth Tuesday every month.
The City Council currently meets at 7 P.M. every first and third Monday monthly, holding study sessions as needed one hour prior on the same day. Schedule changes would be effective July 1, in accordance with state law.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Monday, April 15, at Battle Ground City Hall Council Chambers, 109 SW First St., second floor. Residents who wish to comment during the public hearing must schedule at least six hours in advance with the city clerk. The city clerk can be reached at (360) 342-5008.
