BIA welcomes 2026 board president and officers, honors industry members

The Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) installed its 2026 board president and officers during its November President’s Awards and Officer Installation Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 20.

Alexa Lee of Tapani, Inc. will serve a second term as board president. She is the second woman in the organization’s history to hold the position, a BIA news release stated.

Other officers installed for 2026 include Vice President Max Booth, Vice President Secretary Nicole Hinton-Duke, Vice President Treasurer Dave Campos, Vice President Associate Mark Kroll and Immediate Past President Tracy Doriot.

The event also included the annual President’s Awards, which recognized members for contributions to the homebuilding industry. Honorees included Nikki Grey for membership outreach, Dave Cole for workforce development, Avilaco for construction achievement, Samantha Zimmer as industry advocate and Performance Building Products, Inc. for legacy membership. Additional awards acknowledged achievements in political action, remodelling, building, supplier contributions and industry leadership.

“I am proud to present these awards as they celebrate the members who consistently elevate our association and strengthen our industry,” Lee stated in the release.

Founded in 1969 as the Clark County Home Builders Association, the BIA serves as an advocate for regional homebuilding and small business, offering resources on development and promoting the availability of housing in Clark County, according to the BIA website.
