Burgerville to donate portion of sales to Operation Warm Heart

Burgerville will donate 20% of a sale when customers mention Operation Warm Heart while ordering at any of Clark County’s 11 Burgerville restaurants from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19.

Operation Warm Heart, a Clark Public Utilities program founded in 1985, has helped nearly 16,700 households in the county in financial crisis pay their energy bills.

An employee from Clark Public Utilities will be present at every location during the event to answer questions and thank those who contribute.

Burgerville will also provide customers with the opportunity to round up their totals to the next dollar to contribute to Operation Warm Heart from Jan. 19 through Jan. 29. People can also make donations through Burgerville’s app.

The fundraiser is a lead-in to the Race for Warmth, the program’s biggest fundraising event of the year, which will be held on Jan. 29.

“Burgerville has consistently been among the most proactive corporate sponsors and supporters of both the race and Operation Warm Heart,” stated Dameon Pesanti, media specialist for Clark Public Utilities, in an email. “Since 2015, they’ve donated more than $94,000. After this year’s event, we expect the contribution to easily surpass $100,000.”
