The Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) recognized deputies, civilian employees and community members for heroism and service during its annual awards ceremony at Clark College on Jan. 22.
Individuals were honored for actions that protected the community, saved lives and strengthened public safety. Awards included Life-Saving Medals, Life-Saving Awards, Medals of Merit and annual employee and service honors recognizing extraordinary performance and leadership, according to a CCSO news release.

Exceptional performance awards:
During the ceremony, civilians Kylie Linderman and Trevor Casey received the Citizen Service Medal for their assistance with a homicide investigation in Hazel Dell in October 2025. The pair provided critical information to authorities after reporting a fleeing vehicle and its occupants, which contributed to suspect identification and arrests, according to the news release.
