City of Ridgefield seeks volunteers for Planning Commission

The City of Ridgefield is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the Planning Commission, which advises the City Council on planning, development and growth issues for the community for the 20-year Comprehensive Plan.

The 20-year Comprehensive plan is slated for completion in 2025 and will guide Ridgefield’s future growth, a news release by the city stated.

The seven-member Planning Commission serves four-year terms and regularly attends meetings at 6:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month at the Ridgefield Administrative and Civic Center, 510 Pioneer St., Ridgefield.



Application forms are available online at shorturl.at/1EmA0. Candidates must reside within Ridgefield city limits, the news release stated. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15.

The chosen applicant will be appointed by Ridgefield Mayor Ron Onslow and confirmed by the City Council.
