Clark County Council seeks two volunteers for planning commission

The Clark County Council is looking for two volunteers to serve on the county’s planning commission.

The four year terms for both positions begin on Jan. 1 and end on Dec. 31, 2026, according to a news release.

The planning commission is a seven-member committee that makes recommendations to the council on land-use planning, zoning and development in unincorporated Clark County. The commission also provides recommendations on issues like growth management, roads, development regulations, public facilities and applicable county ordinances.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
