The Clark County Council is seeking volunteers for two openings on the Mosquito Control District Board of Trustees. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10.
Terms for the positions run Jan. 2, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2027, a news release by Clark County stated.
The board oversees the work of the Mosquito Control District, including setting policy, managing expenditures and approving contracts. It includes one member from each city or town in the county and three at-large members appointed by the council. Meetings are held quarterly in a hybrid format at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of February, April, June, August, October and December, the news release stated.
