The Clark County Council will hold a hearing on the county's 2025-2045 Comprehensive Plan Update at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1.
The hybrid hearing will take place in the sixth-floor hearing room at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, and online via Webex. The council will consider proposed changes to the comprehensive and zoning plan maps, policies and text, development code, Arterial Atlas, capital facilities and financial plans, and traffic impact fees, according to a Clark County news release.
The comprehensive plan serves as the county's long-range guide for growth and development in unincorporated Clark County. The current update will establish policies and regulations for the county through 2045, according to the Clark County website.
If necessary, a continuation hearing is tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. on Oct. 2. The council is also tentatively scheduled to consider ordinance adoption at 1 p.m. on Oct. 13.
