Clark County Harvest Celebration to acknowledge the important role of small agricultural businesses

The 25th annual Clark County Harvest Celebration will highlight several farms that will be open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 20, to show the bounty of local agriculture and give Clark County residents an opportunity to tour and meet their area farmers.

This year’s Harvest Celebration will also feature four local farms that have been recognized by WSU Clark County Extension for showing a commitment to stewardship, a press release by the WSU Clark County Extension stated. Get to Gather Farm, Serendipity Alpaca Ranch, Gather and Feast Farm, and C&R Treasure Farms have been awarded a “Doing Our Part for Clean Water” sign for implementing practices that protect clean water and natural resources.

“With nearly two thousand farms throughout Clark County providing fresh produce and meats, this is a great opportunity to introduce the family to the farmers who make our local agriculture strong,” the release states.

Some of the farms that are part of this celebration are Get To Gather Farm, Good Year Farms, Flat Tack Farm, Bi-Zi Farms, Serendipity Alpaca Ranch, and Gather and Feast Farm.

C&R Treasure Farm, a meat-producing farm, will be a new addition to the Harvest Celebration this year, the release states. Visitors to the farm will have the opportunity to meet and feed cows, pigs, turkeys, and chickens, and learn about how this farm sustainably raises livestock.

Participants will be able to meet their local farmers; purchase fresh produce, U-pick, and other farm products; see pigs, alpacas, chickens, Scottish Highland Cows, chickens and other livestock; and pick pumpkins for the season, the release states.

“These farms demonstrate stewardship in Clark County and they’re an excellent place to learn about sustainable farming and land stewardship practices,” Terry Koper, Small Acreage Program Coordinator, said in the release. “This celebration offers residents a great opportunity

to meet local farmers and show support for Clark County agriculture.”

This is a free, family-friendly, and self-guided event. The map and farm descriptions, and more information is available online at extension.wsu.edu/clark/2025-harvest-celebration.

Participating farms will be open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The organizers ask that no pets be allowed to attend any of the farms.
