Clark County is accepting applications to fill two upcoming vacancies on the District Court. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 8.
The positions are opening following the upcoming retirements of Judge Sonya Langsdorf in September and Judge Kelli Osler in December.
Applicants must be registered voters in Clark County and licensed to practice law in Washington state, a news release by Clark County stated.
To apply, candidates must complete a questionnaire, available by contacting the County Council Office at michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov or 564-397-5109. Completed questionnaires may be submitted by mail to Clark County Council Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000, or by email.
All applicant names will be submitted to the Clark County Bar Association for a preference poll.
