Clark County is accepting applications to fill four volunteer positions on the Clean Water Commission, an advisory group that helps guide county services and policies related to water quality and watershed health.
One position will begin upon appointment and end in December 2027. The remaining three will start in January 2027 and run through December 2029, according to a Clark County news release.
Applicants must reside in Clark County, either within a city or the unincorporated area. While professional experience is not required, those with an interest in environmental advocacy, education, water quality or data analysis are encouraged to apply.
The nine-member commission meets in person from 6 to 8 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every other month beginning in February. Members must attend six meetings annually. A required orientation will be held in January.
