The Clark County Council is accepting applications to fill two openings on the county’s Planning Commission. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 12.
One volunteer Planning Commission position is for a six-year term ending Dec. 31, 2031. The other is for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2029. Both terms begin Jan. 1, 2026, a news release by Clark County stated.
The Planning Commission is a seven-member committee that provides recommendations to the County Council for land use planning, zoning and development within unincorporated Clark County. The commission also provides feedback on developmental issues, such as growth management, roads and more, the news release stated.
