Clark County seniors and residents with disabilities are invited to attend the Commission on Aging’s meeting at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, to learn about property tax exemptions.
Staff from the Clark County Assessor’s Office will outline the county’s Tax Exemption Program for Senior Citizens and People with Disabilities, including how to apply, what documentation is required and the benefits the program provides, a news release by Clark County stated.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person attendance in the sixth-floor training room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver. Virtual participation is available at shorturl.at/fbKHU. Commission on Aging meetings are also broadcast on CVTV channel 23/323 and online at cvtv.org.
The Clark County Commission on Aging is a nine-member volunteer group that guides the county’s Aging Readiness Plan and addresses the needs of the aging population. They hold frequent educational meetings to help connect seniors with county resources.
