The League of Women Voters is hosting a candidate forum for the La Center City Council Position No. 4, La Center City Council Position No. 5, La Center School District Director District No. 2 and Cemetery District No. 4 Commissioner Position No. 3 races. Maui Strong Fundraising Garage Sale: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 1115 S. 44th Ave. in Ridgefield. Local Realtor Amy Graeff is hosting a garage sale at her Ridgefield home to benefit the Maui Strong Fund. During the sale, raffle tickets will be sold, (three tickets for $5 and ten tickets for $20) with winning prizes donated by Ridgefield businesses.
