Clark County Public Works is cautioning local drivers of potential delays and road closures as crews work to repair and preserve roadways over the summer.
Delays may occur on residential and arterial roadways while workers apply cape seal, slurry seal, chip seal and hot-mix asphalt on roads across Clark County over the summer, a county news release stated.
Public Works encourages drivers to check their routes for delays before traveling at shorturl.at/zeVpM and shorturl.at/9pfdZ. Construction traffic delay maps are updated weekly, according to the news release.
“Mapping and navigation apps don’t typically show drivers information about temporary road closures or work zone delays, so drivers should check agency websites,” the news release stated.
Additional notifications will be delivered to residents living near roads receiving treatment over the summer via mail. Closer to construction dates, businesses and residents will receive additional notifications at their doors, the news release stated.
