The Clark County Council announced last week it is updating its weekly schedule to accommodate an increase in meetings and provide consistency for attendees.

The council will still hold work sessions beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays. The council meeting that usually begins immediately after the work sessions now start at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. This updated schedule begins this week.

The council hearing schedule will remain the same with hearings taking place at 10 a.m. on the first and fourth Tuesdays and 6 p.m. on the third Tuesdays. An optional time for additional hearings, if needed, is 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday.

All public meetings, hearings, work sessions and council time meetings are held in a hybrid format with in-person and virtual attendance options. Information on how to attend or participate in council meetings is on the county website at clark.wa.gov/councilors/council-meeting-in formation. Meeting agendas and archives are available at clark.wa.gov/councilors/clark-coun ty-council-meetings.

Year-end meeting schedule

Due to scheduling conflicts, the council will not hold meetings on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Council will not hold meetings the weeks of Nov. 20 because of the Thanksgiving holiday and the weeks of Dec. 18 and 25 due to the Christmas holiday. The council will consider the county’s 2024 budget at hearings that begin 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4 and continue daily until final adoption of the budget.
