Clark County is seeking applicants for two volunteer positions on the Clark Communities Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, including one position for a youth member ages 11 to 17.

The 13-member committee advises the county and participating city and state agencies on bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, safety and implementation of the county’s bicycle and pedestrian master plan.

Adult members serve four-year terms, while youth members serve one-year terms. The terms for these positions will begin Jan. 1, 2027, according to a Clark County news release.

Applicants must live in Clark County. People with experience bicycling, walking, using public transit or other forms of active transportation are encouraged to apply.

The committee meets from 6 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month, with in-person and online participation options. Subcommittees may meet as work groups and could require additional time outside of regular meeting times.

Interested residents should submit a completed application to Jake Goodwin, County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000. Applicants may also submit an application by email to jake.goodwin@clark.wa.gov.
