Clark County is seeking two volunteers with lived experience of homelessness to serve on the Ending Community Homelessness Organization (ECHO), a group focused on homelessness policy and coordination.
ECHO is a policy group focused on addressing homelessness in Clark County. The organization includes representatives from local governments and community stakeholders who work to identify service gaps and opportunities to aid the housing-insecure population, according to a Clark County news release.
Volunteer terms are approximately 12 months. Participants may receive an honorarium of up to $1,000 annually, paid monthly based on participation, according to the release.
The group meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Clark County Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Suite 680, Vancouver.
