Cowlitz County seeks public input on 20-year transportation plan

Posted

Cowlitz County is developing a 20-year Transportation System Plan to guide future transportation investments, policies and projects. The county is seeking public input on the plan during two public meetings Sept. 1.

The plan will serve as the transportation element of Cowlitz2046, the county’s comprehensive plan. It will help shape how the county addresses transportation needs and directs investments over the next two decades, according to a Cowlitz County news release.

Two virtual public meetings will be held Sept. 1. The first will be from noon to 12:30 p.m., and the second will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Both meetings will cover the same information and provide an opportunity for public feedback.

The noon meeting can be accessed with Meeting ID 828 9617 5379 and password 1852, or at shorturl.at/HtjFI. The evening meeting uses Meeting ID 873 0437 3433 and password 1854, or at shorturl.at/47DNA.
