Easter roundup: From egg hunts to bazaars, North Clark County events scheduled to celebrate the holiday

As Easter approaches, local organizations have organized Easter egg hunts, church services and a bazaar so people can celebrate the holiday in North Clark County.

Here is a roundup of events set to take place in the area:

• Mountain View Christian Center, located at 2810 NE 259th St. in Ridgefield, will hold its Easter egg hunt from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. The event will include food, a bouncy house and prizes.

• The inaugural Bunny Bazaar will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Manor Grange No. 1101 in Battle Ground. There will be 29 vendors with a variety of items like jewelry, honey, home decor and Girl Scout cookies. Spruce Top Espresso is located in the parking lot of the grange and will be open for business during the event. The Bunny Bazaar will also feature a food drive during the event. People can bring non-perishable food items. Those who bring five or more items will receive a free raffle ticket. Manor Grange is located at 17901 NE 72nd Ave, Battle Ground.

• The Woodland Moose Lodge will hold its community Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Horseshoe Lake Park in Woodland. There will be four separate age groups for those 2 and under, kids from 3 to 5 years old, 6 to 8 years old and 9 to 11 years old. There will be three prize baskets awarded per age group. 

• In Battle Ground, the Kiwanis Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Kiwanis Park. The egg hunt is open to kids up to 10 years of age. 



• Ridgefield will also host its 14th annual Easter egg hunt at Abrams Park from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 8. The egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m.

• Mallard Landing Assisted Living in Battle Ground will host an Easter egg hunt at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. The entire family is invited to join for juice, cookies and photos with the Easter Bunny. Mallard Landing is located at 813 SE Clark Ave. in Battle Ground.

• The La Center Church has invited community members to a service on Sunday, April 9. The services will be held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Easter. The La Center Church is located at 111 E. Fifth St. in La Center.

• The Amboy Baptist Church will serve a continental breakfast at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 9,  followed by a worship service at 10 a.m. Amboy Baptist Church is located at 41605 NE Gerber McKee Road in Amboy.

• Brush Prairie Baptist Church will hold its Sunday Easter services at 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 9. The church is located at 11814 NE 117th Ave., Vancouver.
