Firm Foundation Christian School hosts annual STEAM night

Posted

Firm Foundation Christian School (FFCS) in Battle Ground celebrated science, technology, engineering, art and math on its fourth annual STEAM night on Friday, Feb. 2.

The theme for this year’s STEAM night was “Day Two: God Created the Sky and Atmosphere,” and 300 students and their families participated in the event, according to the school’s press release.

STEAM-themed activity stations throughout the school taught participants about the sky and atmosphere, the press release stated. Each of the activity stations was run by a Firm Foundation Christian School staff member. Each staff member was assisted by a high school student serving as a “STEAM coach,” who aided younger students in completing the station’s activity.

All attendees at STEAM night were entered into a drawing to win numerous prizes, such as different science kits, a star projector and a toy airplane launcher.

Open enrollment for Firm Foundation Christian School begins March 1. Families

who wish to enroll their students at the school can fill out an application online before

scheduling a meeting with the school’s enrollment specialist, the press release stated.
