Former Yacolt mayor Jeff Carothers returned to Yacolt’s Town Council following his appointment to position No. 1 on June 10. Carothers replaces prior member Joe Wisniewski, who resigned due to a family move out of town.
Yacolt Mayor Ian Shealy announced Wisniewski’s resignation on May 13 during a Town Hall meeting.
Yacolt residents elected Carothers as mayor twice, and he served from 2011-17 before resigning due to health issues, as reported by The Reflector.
