Furry Friends launches annual Giving Tree holiday supply drive

Local cat rescue Furry Friends has launched its annual Giving Tree holiday supply drive, inviting community members to donate supplies for cats and kittens in the organization’s care.

Businesses throughout Clark County are hosting Giving Trees featuring wish lists and donation bins. Items collected will help offset supply costs during the winter season, allowing the nonprofit to dedicate more resources to animal care, a Furry Friends press release stated.

As of press time, participating locations include:

• Glenwood Place, 5500 NE 82nd Ave., Vancouver
• Claus Paws Animal Hospital, 5819 NE 162nd Ave., Vancouver
• Tractor Supply, SW 12th Ave., Battle Ground
• Les Schwab, 11804 NE 78th Way, Vancouver
• Dick Hannah Volkswagen, 500 NE Auto Mall Drive, Vancouver
• Paws Cascadia, 720 W. Main St., Suite 104, Battle Ground
• PetSmart, 130 SE 192nd Ave., Vancouver
• All Natural Pet Supply, 3425 SE 192nd Ave., Suite 108, Vancouver

The organization’s wish lists include kitten bottles and formula, canned and dry food, natural and clumping litter, small litter pans, grooming tools, feline probiotics, office supplies and various cleaning supplies.
