The GRO Parade of Homes returns to Clark County this month, giving residents an opportunity to tour eight custom-built homes while getting a look at some of the latest trends in Pacific Northwest residential design.
The annual event, organized by the Building Industry Association of Clark County, runs Sept. 10 through Sept. 27 in the Emerald Grove community of Salmon Creek. The 2026 event marks the 49th year of the Parade of Homes, which began in 1977.
This year’s eight homes are situated on 16,000-square-foot lots and will be located within the same community, allowing visitors to walk between the homes as they explore the different designs.
The homes will feature a variety of architectural and design elements, including smart-home technology, indoor-outdoor living spaces, energy-efficient features and wellness-focused amenities.
“The GRO Parade of Homes is a celebration of what’s possible,” said BIA Executive Officer Noelle Lovern in a news release. “Every home represents hundreds of hours of craftsmanship, collaboration and creativity from local builders, designers and trade professionals who are redefining how we live.”
The event is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Along with the home tours, the Parade will feature several special events throughout its three-week run.
The event kicked off with a VIP Preview Party on Thursday, Sept. 10.
Industry & Design Day will take place on Thursday, Sept. 17, and will include designer-led home tours and discussions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the Designed for Success Fashion Show from 2 to 4 p.m. The day will conclude with an Industry Professionals White Party from 5 to 8 p.m.
General admission tickets cost $20 for visitors ages 12 and older. Children ages 3 to 12 can attend for $5, while children younger than 3 are admitted free.
One dollar from each adult admission will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, while all proceeds from children's tickets will go to the organization. Adult season passes are available for $50.
Visitors also can use the new GRO Parade of Homes mobile app, which includes interactive maps, builder profiles, home information and event schedules.
The Parade is intended for prospective homeowners and those considering remodeling projects, but organizers also expect the event to draw visitors interested in architecture, interior design, landscaping and home-building trends.
