In Loving Memory Of June Ida McKee 1934 ~ 2023

June Ida McKee (Waser) "JuneBug" was born July 15, 1934, in Pioneer, Washington, to Ramey and Ida (Kiser) Waser. She died Aug. 9, 2023. 

Her family moved to Amboy and lived on a dairy farm in Chelatchie Prairie. She went to Battle Ground High School and graduated in 1953. 

She was a dairy farmer's wife and worked real hard by her husband's side with all the chores and milking cows. She also loved crafts, gardening, canning and also helping out volunteering at the Yacolt School and Amboy School with the kindergarten class with Mrs. Harpe. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett McKee, sister Dorothy Fry, brothers Albert, Ray, Eddie and John Waser and Robert Duerr. 

She is survived by her twin sister, Jane Wilson (Waser), daughter Judy Whitmire, grandkids, great-grandkids and also a great-great-grandson; Richard McKee, grandson Kyle McKee and his family, and also many nieces and nephews and lots of friends she loved dancing with. 

There will be a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Oct. 1, 2023, at the Amboy Territorial grounds. There will be a potluck.
