In Loving Memory of Marie Fronk 4/17/1935 - 5/24/2026
A lifelong Clark County resident, Marie Fronk was born April 17, 1935, in Orchards to Anthony and Rosalie Martell. The third of nine children, she grew up on the family farm in Sifton, where she developed the work ethic, resilience and family values that guided her throughout her life.
Marie attended Evergreen High School and graduated at the top of the Class of 1953. After high school, she met the love of her life, Richard Fronk, whose family had relocated to Vancouver during wartime. The couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in March and raised four sons together. Marie lived in Battle Ground for the past 40 years.
She enjoyed road trips and exploring new places with her husband. A lifelong baseball fan, she followed her sons through Little League and remained a dedicated Mariners fan throughout her life. She also enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, and visits to the Moose Lodge and local casinos.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother Nick; and sisters Anthonette, Jenny and Louise.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; brothers Victor and Ed; sisters Gloria and Julie; sons Thomas (Debbie), John, David (Michelle) and Daniel (Darci); grandchildren Jared (Lauren), Michael (Sarah), Brian, Thad, Heidi and Mat; and great-grandchildren Tyler, Emma and Hunter.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. July 18 at Washington Grange No. 82, 7701 N.E. Ward Road, Vancouver.
