Rebecca “Becky” Hantho, born Feb. 27, 1986, of La Center, Washington, passed away March 9, 2026.
Becky dedicated her career to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant for the Veterans Administration, where she compassionately served veterans with dignity, patience and respect. Her work reflected her deeply caring nature and her genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those around her.
Outside of her profession, Becky found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved writing, often expressing her thoughts and creativity through words. She had a passion for baking, sharing her creations with friends and family. Becky also enjoyed traveling and creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Time spent with her family and friends was something she treasured deeply.
Becky will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and warm heart. She had a way of making others feel valued and cared for, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving parents, William “Bill” and Dana Hantho; siblings, Andrew, Kimberly and James; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Becky’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched through her compassion, laughter and unwavering love.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
