Vera Louise Schleicher lived her entire life in Vancouver. She attended Vancouver High School and retired from Jantzen.
She is survived by her three children, Larry (Sandy) Schleicher, Kathleen (Art) Butler and Karen Schleicher; grandchildren, John (Christi) Cashman, Peggye Springetti, Todd (Eun Young) Schleicher, Jeremy Butler, Matt (Becky) Butler and Amy (Brandon) O'Lear; nephew, Gary Schleicher; and niece, Gail Hawes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Schleicher, and brother, Clyde Newcomb.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Washington Talking Books and Braille Library. Northwood Park Funeral Home and Cemetery is handling services.
