In loving memory of Violet Deloris O’Keath: Nov. 11, 1933 - Aug. 18, 2023

Violet (Vi) O’Keath passed away Aug. 18, 2023. She was 89 years old, born in Vancouver, Washington, to Ernest and Edith Christenson.
Violet is survived by daughters, Renae (Gary) Bennett, Lori (Dan) Lindberg and Tammi (Steve) Weiss; son David (Tammy) O’Keath; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Alvin Christenson; husband, Melvin; son, Mike; grandsons, Gary Bennett Jr. and Travis; and great-granddaughter Charlotte.
Violet graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1951. Melvin and Violet were married in 1952. Violet worked at several occupations, some include Dunn & Bradstreet, Del Monte, City Liquidators and Chicago Steamer. She enjoyed reading, painting and spending time with family and friends. She volunteered her time over the years to several organizations including PTA, Lady Jaycees, March of Dimes, Miss Washington Pageant and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She was a very giving person, wanting to donate to the food bank and organizations important to her. She fought a long, hard fight with Alzheimer’s disease. Chapel service with gravesite and hospitality to follow will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 1 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
