League of Women Voters changes schedule for upcoming candidate forums

The League of Women Voters of Clark County announced a schedule change for candidate forums ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.

In a news release, the organization noted the following candidates will not be attending the upcoming forums:

Paul Harris in the Legislative District 17 Senate race.

John Ley in the Legislative District 18 Representative Position 2 race.

Peter Abbarno in the Legislative District 20 Representative Position 1 race.

Due to the organization’s no-empty chair policy, no forums hosting a single candidate for a contested seat will be hosted.

The forums, sponsored by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Clark County, will be aired on government access channel CVTV, and links will be posted on cvtv.org.
