"When a foreigner resides with you in your land, you must not oppress him. You must treat the foreigner living among you as native-born and love him as yourself." Leviticus 19:33-34.
"He (God) executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and He loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing. So, you also must love the foreigner, since you yourselves were foreigners in the land of Egypt." Deuteronomy 10:18-19.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-40.
The Lord proclaims: Do what is just and right; rescue the oppressed from the power of the oppressor. Don’t exploit or mistreat the refugee, the orphan, and the widow.” Jeremiah 22:3.
“To the thirsty bring water; meet the fugitive with bread.” Isaiah 21:14.
“There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.” Exodus 12:49.
“This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’" Zechariah 7:9-10,
“For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14.
