Letter to the editor: America’s Founders fought a bloody war to secure our rights to object to tyranny

Letter writer Bruce McClay now wants us to know that "if you fight with those you disagree with religiously or politically, you are not a servant of Jesus." 

Wow, that means I must agree with politicians who want to place gender-confused men in girls' bathrooms and not object to tax rates calculated to impoverish middle-class citizens. 

Sorry, Bruce, but America's Founders fought a bloody war to secure our rights to object to tyranny. It is not Jesus who wants to deprive us of those rights, it's you.
