Letter to the editor: Argument For Voting Democrat

Posted

Evan Dudlik claims to be a conservative. He admits that John Braun provided him with excellent service, yet now he feels compelled to vote Democrat. He parrots Democratic talking points, claiming the reason is that John Braun will accept President Trump’s endorsement. Excuse me if I don’t find his explanation convincing.

Evan is complaining about high gas prices? Those prices were just as high under Biden, and Washington Democrats gave us one of the largest gasoline tax hikes in state history — a direct hit to every Washingtonian’s wallet. Handing the Democrats yet another supermajority — something they’ve held for decades — will only ensure another mass wave of illegals. Are you ready for that? When we face high prices, record homelessness, and rising crime, we cannot ignore who has held power in this state for years. Now Democrats are actively pursuing taxing the producers in our state even more. Many of them are leaving and taking good-paying jobs with them ( as Obama would say it is only fair ) and it is necessary. Again hurting the very people they pretend to care about. Their only argument remains “orange man bad.” Sadly, Evan fell for it.
