Letter to the editor: Battle Ground Resident Criticizes School Protest, Defends Presidential Support

Posted

Long live the King. The crowd grows at the second Battle Ground NO Kings protest. What a crock of s*** most Battle Ground residents may not agree with all the president's politics, but believe in and support the president. The fact that the school district allowed and encouraged students to protest against ICE during class time is one reason school funding is failing. Reading, writing arithmetic, good manners, and respect should be taught in the classroom, not the streets. Teachers need to teach the curriculum, not their religion, politics, or personal beliefs stay within your boundaries and talk directly with parents about any concerns with their children.
