Letter to the editor: Congrats Maddie Thompson

Posted

In reference to the separate scholarship called the Earl Kadow Family Scholarship, we are proud to announce our first doctor of veterinary medicine: Dr. Maddie Thompson, DVM.

As our first recipient of the Earl Kadow Family Scholarship, Dr. Thompson got her undergraduate degree in animal science at Washington State University, then completed her studies in veterinary medicine at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
Dr. Thompson now practices as a mixed animal veterinarian in a small rural town in North Dakota. We have many recipients well on their way to continuing their education in agriculture as a result of this scholarship.

Donations are always appreciated to continue our program and can be made to The Friends of the Clark County Fair Scholarship program at 17402 NE Delfel Road, Ridgefield, 98642.
