Where is the Clark County Council on clearing fireworks to be OK’d in outlying areas of Clark County when there is a burn ban in effect? There is a major fire burning in the Columbia Gorge. You think it might be about votes and not safety?
I think fireworks are just fine, but in the right conditions. As I write this on July 5, fireworks are still being shot off by Battle Ground Lake and the sheriff’s department is too busy to be bothered with the thought of people causing a wildfire or losing their homes. Way to go Horch. Maybe we elected the wrong guy to be our fearless leader at the sheriff’s department.
Protecting our rights I guess falls on us and not our so-called woke elected officials. They like your tax dollars but do very little to earn it.
