On November 4th, registered US citizen voters have the opportunity to vote for Battle Ground School Board district candidates. By now, all registered voters in Clark County have received Voter Pamphlets. When only the Voter Pamphlet is used, there are no guarantees!
Visiting different websites, attending candidate forums, reading the local newspaper columns/letters, and social media all aid in making a better-informed decision. Our right to vote demands wise choices!
Many parents believe there is an attack on our children in public education and a war on parental rights. Six-figure Battle Ground school teachers are producing students with test scores unworthy of their pay grade. Behind the war and degradation of Battle Ground Schools, are politicians in Olympia and the WEA, Washington Education Association.
Three unworthy BG school board candidates are endorsed by the WEA. The WEA may appear positive, yet the WEA supports and promotes trans (biological males who think they are girls), using girls’ bathrooms, and supports trans participation in girls’ sporting events! The WEA supports and promotes curricula in public education that promote LGBTQ indoctrination in schools, sexualization of young children, pornography in school libraries, Marxist Critical Race Theory indoctrination throughout curricula, and Social
Emotional Learning, (SEL#CASEL), a program that is spiritually, emotionally, and mentally abusive, especially to Christian students.
All of these programs have the potential to radicalize and bully children who refuse indoctrination. SEL creates division amongst parents and children. Those endorsed by WEA are Lori Snidley, Sabrena Worthy, and Marshall Marrott. BG schools can expect continued poor performance, more indoctrination, and more radicalization if WEA-endorsed candidates win elections.
Of the three candidates endorsed and supported by radical WEA agendas, one candidate stands out: Sabrena Worthy, a social worker, who often wears a Pride rainbow mask and speaks at school boards in favor of their abominable practices. After COVID, when schools opened, “UnWorthy” advocated keeping children home, which further dumbed down many failing students and continued the economic and family stress on working parent(s). Subsequently, because of out-of-school learning, our children set record-low test scores!
Washington State Report Card has Battle Ground District students' English Language Arts proficiency at 46.5 % and 40.1% in Math. For college readiness, 45.4% meet English benchmarks, and sadly, 29.1% meet math benchmarks. Recently, Washington State Superintendent
Reykdal announced that scores are improving in Washington. In fact, standards have been lowered, making his miserable report card look better. This educational dumpster fire will continue as long as WEA and Democrat Party-endorsed school board candidates are elected.
Often, parents choose to homeschool to protect children. Sadly, many working parents cannot afford homeschooling and are forced to use public education. The solution is yours! There are two exceptional candidates, opposing this chaos coming from Olympia, who champion parental rights, can return sanity and ORDER to BG schools, and chip away at the abominable leviathan created by the WEA and Olympia Democrats. They are ready and waiting for your vote… Cast it for Chris Grewell, and Jennifer-Heine Withee.
