Lisa Oldham has been installed as the president of the Lewis River Rotary Club for 2023-2024. Oldham has been a Rotarian for 11 years and has previous leadership experience as secretary, treasurer, vocational service director and community service director.

A news release from the Lewis River Rotary Club lists her as being the club’s program and speaker director as well.

“I’m very grateful to belong to this group of ambitious and optimistic people. This is a very dynamic group,” Oldham told The Reflector. “Rotary is an international organization that has over 1.3 million members across the globe, and what I found was my two hands in joining with those 1.3 million plus hands across the globe. It’s pretty incredible to see the differences that Rotary has made not only in our local community but internationally.”

Oldham added that the Rotary club has been wrapping up its five-year visioning plan, which included the recent renovations of Battle Ground’s Central Park.

“We’ve met several of our goals in our five year visiting plan and in the coming year we’ll be making plans for our next five years,” Oldham added.

Outside of the Lewis River Rotary Club, Oldham is executive director of Tangible Systems Clark County where she has worked for 37 years providing employment services and business diversity employment consulting for people with disabilities, the release stated.

Oldham is an advocate for social and reformative justice and she enjoys cooking, gardening, watching movies and documentaries as well as ‘“finding the silver linings in life,” the release added.

“Other incoming club leaders include Neil Butler, president elect; Kelly Muscarella-Park, president nominee; Nancy Heidrick, Secretary; Gail Haskett, treasurer; Marta Carminato, public image director; and Linda Allen, membership director. Rotary clubs also have five “Avenue of Service” directors, which include: Gail Haskett, club service; Kasey Olson, community service; Neil Butler, vocational service; Kathleen Hensch-Fleming, international service; and Jeff Lines, new generations service. Jeff Lines will also be serving as the incoming Rotary area governor for Clark County, overseeing and coaching seven Rotary Clubs,” the release states.

The Lewis River Rotary Club meets every first and third Tuesday morning of the month at 7 a.m. and every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:45 p.m. at the Battle Ground Community Center.

“I would like to extend an invitation to our community to come visit us at a meeting,” Oldham added regarding their meetings, which are open to the public.
