The Clark County Elections Office will conduct a logic and accuracy test of the program used to tabulate ballots at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29.

The accessible voting units for the Nov. 8 general and special election will also be tested, stated a news release.

The test will be held at the elections office at 1408 Franklin St.

“This test is required under Washington state law before every election,” stated the release. “Members of the news media, candidates, jurisdictions with measures on the ballot and the public are invited to attend this test.”

Ballots for the November election will be mailed on Friday, Oct. 21 to all active and registered voters in Clark County.

The process to prepare the ballot tabulation system to produce election results will begin at 7 p.m. on election day on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Election results will be available between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. on election night on the auditor’s website at clarkvotes.org.
