The Building Futures Foundation (BFF), a nonprofit arm of the Building Industry Association of Clark County, has opened online registration for the upcoming Green Tie Gala, taking place at 6 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the Victorian Vineyard, 21919 NE 154th St., Brush Prairie.
The Green Tie Gala is a formal evening of recognition and entertainment, featuring live music, food, drinks and a silent auction. Proceeds from the gala will benefit scholarships, tool grants and programs supporting careers in the local building industry, a press release by Building Futures Foundation stated. “Since 2007, BFF has distributed $214,250 in scholarships and tool grants to students pursuing college, trade school or apprenticeships, as well as individuals launching their own construction-related businesses,” the press release stated.
BFF also donated $120,000 to Vancouver Public Schools in 2024 to expand construction facilities and enhance access to hands-on training for students, the release stated.
