On Friday, Aug. 14, Battle Ground Citizens for Better Schools hosted its inaugural golf tournament fundraiser, bringing 120 area golfers together to support the Battle Ground Public Schools District at the Lewis River Golf Course in Woodland.
Additional fundraiser support from the golf tournament included 15 sponsors, a silent and online auction, as well as a raffle.
“We are grateful to all of the golfers, sponsors and volunteers who made it possible,” said Terry Dotson, chair of Battle Ground Citizens for Better Schools.
