The 2026 GRO Parade of Homes, taking place just north of Salmon Creek along Northwest 11th Avenue, is set to feature 16 lots in total dubbed “Emerald Grove.”
The luxury home show will feature multiple builders from around the area all at the single subdivision, with homes set to debut in September. According to the Building Industry of Clark County (BIA), more than 70 builders, suppliers, and subcontractors will have their hand in one of the many homes that will be on display, and it is expected to draw over 7,500 attendees once the show begins nine months from now.
The Parade of Homes will feature eight lots designated for the event, with an additional eight lots on the subdivision’s site plan.
One key aspect of the Parade of Homes this year is the fact that the builders will have some room for creative landscaping on larger lots, which Danielle Kilian, Senior Director of Events and Development, is looking forward to.
“The lots are large, which is hard to find in Clark County at this point,” Kilian said. “And so they’re 15,000 square foot lots; and they’re flat. So, I’m envisioning we will be seeing a lot of single-level living, which is so important for the aging generation in Clark County. And, multi-generational living, you know, is able to be done in a lot like that where you can have multiple generations living in the same household.”
Kilian added that she has not seen 15,000-square-foot lots used for the home show before. In 2024, she said the event featured acreage lots, whereas a typical show features much smaller lots.
“It allows more features to be done for the homes, too,” Kilian added. “Because it’s not just the house, ideally outdoor living areas, maybe pools, garages that are attached or detached from the home.”
The longstanding event is now in its 48th year, BIA stated. Parade of Homes is designed to highlight the craftsmanship, innovation, and collaboration of the local building industry while supporting the BIA's mission to keep the American dream of homeownership within reach for working-class families.
This year’s event features returning faces and new players in the Parade of Homes building scene.
“The combination of builders we have this year is great because we have some returners, some favorites that have come back, and then we also have some new people, so it’ll be a good mix of what people are kind of used to,” Kilian said, adding that eight lots for the home show will generate more variety. “Ideally, there will be a lot more variety of homes and home types, because everybody kind of has their look that they go for. So I think what the guests can experience will be ideally a wide variety of homes and layouts.”
Kilian anticipates that the outdoor space will spark many visions for visitors. Home lots may incorporate artificial turf, while others could include natural grass and additional landscaping.
“We just encourage people to follow us along on social media, Clark County Parade of Homes is the page for the GRO Parade of Homes,” Kilian plugged. “We will showcase different construction landmarks during the next nine months and give teasers out there of the builders, the renderings, when all that stuff gets finalized, and any kind of information we can get the builders to share with us to share with everybody else.”
The home show is set to take place Sept. 11-27 at Emerald Grove.
